Invest more in agri research, technology to raise productivity!
Agriculture is likely to resgister low growth for the second year in a row of weak monsoon ,the survey said and called for a paradigm shift to raise productivity to get "more from less" and rainbow revolution - integrated development of agriculture,horticulture, forestry,fishery and animal husbandry to match tge supply with evolving dietary patterns that favour greater protein consumption.
It is also proposed that more investment in research into hybrid and highyeilding seeds technology, mechanisation, and efficient water use via micro irrigation!
